Yang Ren
Yang Ren (b. 1987) comes from China. Since graduating from high school, he has studied biology for over 10 years at several Chinese universities. His research involved ecology, food science, and neuroscience. In 2019, he commenced his composition studies under Toivo Tulev and Helena Tulve at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre and he has been a master’s student of Toivo Tulev since 2022. He has composed a number of pieces, including Piano Trio, Sorrow for string orchestra, Human for six percussions, Enka for viola solo, etc.
