The Bright Future Ensemble combines voices that have never before sung together. Instruments from lost traditions are revived in modern dialogue.
The idea for the ensemble was born at a meeting of musicians a few years ago at a festival in Båstad, Sweden. Good chemistry and the same sense of humor quickly led to a desire for musical cooperation. New work was commissioned from Helena Tulve, the main guest of the Båstad Festival that year, and the ensemble was born. Due to the Covid pandemic, the ensemble has had to wait for its first full concert and is glad that it will finally take place in Estonia at the Estonian Music Days.
