Eladio Barreto Aguilar

Eladio Barreto Aguilar (b. 1997) was born in San Sebastián de La Gomera. He started in music as a member of the children’s choir in his hometown. He studied trumpet and composition in Tenerife with Jonay Martin (Tenerife, Spain) and Milena Perisic (Croatia) respectively, extending his education with composer Michał Moc (Polonia). At present, he is studying composition with René Eespere and Toivo Tulev at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre. He is simultaneously studying orchestral conducting with maestro Miguel Romea (Madrid, España) and maestro Toomas Kapten (Tallinn, Estonia). Eladio Aguilar is the chief conductor of the chamber orchestra Mons Igneus (orchestra based in Tenerife).
