Elvis Dēliņš
Elvis Dēliņš is a latvian born composer based in Tallinn. His path has brought him through classical piano studies, musicology and jazz in Latvia, and classical composition studies in Tallinn under the guidance of Toivo Tulev (Bachelor’s). In the academic year of 2024/25 (Master’s) Elvis studied in Bolzano, Italy with Luca Macchi. An important piece written during this time is Flashes Forward for mandolin and ensemble. Now he is continuing his Master’s studies in Tallinn with Helena Tulve. His pieces have been performed by Prezioso, Ensemble for New Music Tallinn, EAMT Sinfonietta, Monika Mattiesen, Helena Tulve and others.
