Karolin Vetevoog (b. 1999) is a freelance musician. She graduated from the Georg Ots Tallinn Music College in 2018 with a degree in music theory (with Maia Lilje as teacher) and from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre in 2022 with a degree in folk music (with Katariin Raska, Leanne Barbo, Sänni Noormets and Karoliina Kreintaal). She has played at several music festivals, including Viljandi Folk Music Festival, Hiiu Folk festival, International Contemporary Music Festival AFEKT, Traditional Dance Festival Sabatants, the folk music concert series Reval Folk, etc. Vetevoog is particularly interested in contemporary projects and free improvisation which has enabled her to extend modern bagpipe techniques and to develop a unique style of playing.
